The Global Reporting Initiative GRI is the most widely used framework for sustainability reporting.
It helps companies to implement corporate social responsibility into their daily business and to report transparently on the social, economic and environmental performance of their organisation.
In 2012 the new GRI G4 framework was launched with a clear focus on materiality. Starting from 1 January 2016 the old framework is no longer valid.
